Team bonding activities Singapore

A list of team bonding activities you can run in Singapore, without hiring an agency and without making anyone download an app. Each one below works on PlayTours, so you build it once in the browser and run it yourself. Free for up to 25 devices.

Team bonding activities your team can run themselves

CBD Photo Rally

Teams move between Raffles Place, Marina Bay, and the Esplanade. At each stop they photograph a landmark, answer a short question, and check in before they can open the next clue.

Best for 20 to 80 people, about 90 minutes, outdoors.

Run it with Location check-ins, Multiple-choice questions, and an Image task you approve under Judgements.

Sentosa Shoreline Challenge

A walking route along the beach and boardwalk. Clues are taped at landmarks. Teams photograph the group at each point and scan a code to prove they were there.

Best for 40 to 200 people, about 2 hours, outdoors.

Run it with Qrbarcode scans, Image tasks, and Text answers.

Hawker Centre Food Hunt

Teams work through Maxwell, Tiong Bahru, or Lau Pa Sat. They find a named stall, photograph the dish, and answer a local-knowledge question before the next stall unlocks.

Best for 20 to 60 people, about 90 minutes, outdoors under cover.

Run it with Multiple-choice and Text questions, plus an Image task checked in Judgements.

Indoor Office Escape Hunt

Clues move desk to desk inside the office. A code is taped under a shelf. A written answer opens the next desk. Nobody leaves the building, so weather is not part of the plan.

Best for 15 to 100 people, about 60 minutes, indoors.

Run it with Qrbarcode tasks and Text answers. Turn on Shuffle tasks & prevent crowding if several teams start together.

Neighbourhood Trivia Route

A walking quiz through Tiong Bahru, Joo Chiat, Little India, or an HDB neighbourhood. Each stop asks about a landmark or a bit of local history the team can see from the street.

Best for 20 to 60 people, about 90 minutes, outdoors.

Run it with Multiple-choice questions and Location check-ins.

Hybrid Room Challenge

Half the team is in the room and half is on a call. Each side holds part of the clue. They have to talk to finish a question, then both sides submit the same answer.

Best for a split team, about 60 minutes, indoors plus a call.

Run it with Text answers and Multiple-choice questions on one shared game code.

Large Group Wave

A long route for a big offsite where every team cannot stand at the same stop. The opening and the finish stay fixed. The stops in the middle come up in a different order for each team.

Best for 80 to 200 people, about 90 minutes, indoor or outdoor.

Turn on Shuffle chapters & prevent crowding in the Chapters tab.

How to run it yourself

1. Describe the day in QuickBuild. Say who is playing, where in Singapore, and how long you have. Click Create Draft. The draft appears on the right. Read it before anyone plays.

2. Edit the missions in the builder. The tutorial game uses these task types on the Chapters tab: Location, Qrbarcode, Multiple-choice, and Text. A Qrbarcode task stores the accepted code under Accepted Answers. Turn on Shuffle chapters & prevent crowding when a large group should not queue at one stop.

3. Print one QR. On the session, players open pyts.link and enter the game code, or they scan the session QR. Use Add Pre-created Team on the Teams tab if the groups are already named.

4. Watch the room from the facilitator dashboard. The tabs are Leaderboard, Broadcast, Messages, Judgements, Points, Chapters, Gallery, Map, and Team Decks. Approve photos under Judgements before the points count.

Questions before you book a vendor

What team bonding activities can I run in Singapore?

The formats on this page are a CBD photo rally, a Sentosa shoreline walk, a hawker centre food hunt, and an indoor office hunt. Each one is a route you build and run yourself, with Location check-ins, Qrbarcode scans, Multiple-choice questions, Text answers, and Image tasks.

Do players need to download an app?

No. They scan a QR or open a short link in the phone browser. There is no app store step, no player account, and nothing for IT to approve. They are in the game in about 15 seconds.

How much does it cost?

Free is 25 concurrent devices, every feature, a watermark, and no credit card. Paid plans keep every feature and raise the cap: $79 a month for 60 devices, $159 for 120, $265 for 200, and $395 for 300. The $35 plan removes the watermark for 5 phones at once. It is not a bigger group than free. See pricing for the full list.

What is a concurrent device?

A concurrent device is a phone in the game at the same time. Two people sharing one phone count as one device. A long guest list does not raise the price if those phones are not all playing together. When the cap is full, new joins wait. People already playing stay in.

How hard is it to build for the first time?

You do not start from an empty builder. In QuickBuild, describe the day and click Create Draft. Read the stops, change any that do not fit, and print the QR from Download Tasks & Items QR Codes.

Can I reuse the game for multiple sessions?

Yes. The game stays in your account. Open a new session, use the same missions, and give the next group a new code. You are not booking a vendor again for the same afternoon.

Is PlayTours used by companies in Singapore?

Yes. PlayTours is built in Singapore. Teams at Google, Apple, EY, Accenture, Grab, and Starbucks have used it. In Singapore, so have HDB, SAF, NUS, NYP, and Singapore Polytechnic.
